PRU 13 in Taiping (medical line)

Tonight was the 14th of May 2013, just a couple of days after the most heated general election 13 held on 5th of May. I was oncalled yesterday, the 13th of May which it turned out to be one of the worst call ever in Hospital Taiping.

I would like to cheers to all Malaysian that another peaceful May 13 has passed. Let the incident of 13th May 1969 became history and never again resurface. It has again proved that the leader in this era is more long sighted and peace seeking. Malaysia will proper if this tide to be continued.

There are multiple factors attributed to the civil riot. In history, the main excuse to blame for is the disparity of economy class among the races in Malaysia. People deemed that certain ethnic has the monopoly in business and left the other ethnic living in hardcore poor. And, people think that this group of people do not have the right to be prosper in the sense of economy. In the eyes of jealousy and hatred, the logic mind is temporary blinded and people act according to emotion. It is an act of desperation rather than anger.

Alright let's come back to the current development in Malaysia, overall the standard of living has been improved and upgraded over these years. Majority of people has afford to live surpass the basic living requirement especially in town area. People nowadays are chasing for pleasure and enjoyable activity like travelling which of course contributed by AirAsia, everybody can fly. The aim of living now has shifted from "eat to live" to "live to eat". This is especially true in Malaysia because of variety of food from different ethnicity and also imported from other country. It is foolproof by the evidence of mushrooming restaurant and food outlet in Malaysia including French cuisine and wine.

The sentiment of riots due to economy disparity is no longer valid. After so many years, we Malaysian has went through ups and downs together and already formed a big family under a roof. Do not let the skin colour separate us from each other as we has grown up from the same land, same school, same playground and we sing the same national anthem and celebrate the victory of Dato Lee Chong Wei..etc. We might have our own strength and weaknesses, and own cultural and believes, but the ultimate aim is to live harmonious and peaceful among each other. We should be thankful for whatever blessing we have, and hold hand in hand to face numerous obstacles ahead of us.

The real threat to us is not our skin colour, but the corruptions, criminal, foreign economy manipulation, global warming, natural disaster( just to name afew)...Last but not least, I am proud to be a Malaysian.
